On March 30, 2003 inline skating marathons will change forever with
the inaugural skating of the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Inline Marathon.
The adventure begins at DISNEY’S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS®
Complex, where the loop course whisks skaters to the bright lights
of show business at the DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS. After parading down
HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD, skaters stroll along a charming coastal village
at DISNEY’S BOARDWALK RESORT. Then it's on to EPCOT® and
the eleven great nations of the WORLD SHOWCASE before circling back
to DISNEY’S WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS® Complex for a rewarding
finish.

tour!
FAST FACTS
The race features
both marathon and half marathon distances.
Registration is open to skaters 13 and older.
The Entry Fee is $70 for the Marathon and $45 for the Half Marathon
on or before March 1.
A team/club discount is available for ten or more skaters. Call

Race weekend will feature the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Inline Marathon
Expo on Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.

Divisions for the Inaugural WALT DISNEY WORLD® Inline Marathon
include Professional, Professional Master’s, Advanced, and
Recreational/Fitness. Please be sure to select the appropriate division
in the registration process.

The Inaugural WALT DISNEY WORLD® Inline Marathon is pleased
to have the International Inline Skating Association as its presenting
sponsor. The IISA includes eleven of the sport’s premier skate
manufacturers, including Rollerblade, K2, Salomon, Ultrawheels,
Tour, Roces, Nike N’Dorphin Inline Skates, Verducci, Hyper
Wheels, Smart Wheels, and Twin Cam.
RACE BENEFICIARY
The National Skate Patrol is the official beneficiary of the Inaugural
WALT DISNEY WORLD® Inline Marathon. The National Skate Patrol
was developed in 1992 and is a network of volunteers who help skaters
to better coexist with pedestrians and other park and trail users.
